HIGHLIGHT
Museum of Medical Sciences
The Medical Science Museum is the first museum in China specialized in medicine, operating as a non-profit institution with a comprehensive scope. It is also recognized as a National 3A Tourist Attraction, with a total built area of 16,000 square meters and a collection of 10,000 items, including literature, historical materials, and artifacts.
The museum has 11 branches, including the China Anesthesia Museum, the Exhibition Hall of the History and Development of Chinese Clinical Engineering, and a General Exhibition Hall.
It serves as a platform for medical training, medical education, and exchange within the medical industry. The museum has been approved as a teaching base for the Advanced Research Institute of the National Medical Products Administration and as an anesthesia education base for the Chinese Society of Anesthesiology, among other institutions.
Its mission is to preserve medical culture and reveal the richness of medical humanities.
